She works with adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, loss, and substance abuse.
Jesca understands the courage it takes to seek counseling while bravely facing a desired change in your story. Jesca strives to establish a safe space with clients in which to hold both attuned connection and genuine authenticity, a sacred place in which transformational healing can occur.
Jesca was drawn to counseling following a career in education where she saw a desperate need for supportive care at the ground level of pain and relational turmoil. Jesca accepted Christ as her savior at a young age and grew up quickly in a family with addiction issues, complex trauma compounded by grief and loss. Her life experience and training combined with her compassion and deep reliance on Christ have specifically equipped her to offer connection and assist others on their journey towards hope and healing.
Jesca and her husband have been married for over twenty-five years and raised three sons together. She enjoys participating as an equine therapist, traveling, and reading.
Jesca is working under the direct supervision of Claudia (Chloe) Cooper, LISAC, LPC, who is an approved Clinical Supervisor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Jesca can be reached by phone at (520)505-1127, and by email at Jesca@NewHopeCounselors.com. She sees clients in person on Tuesdays in the N Scottsdale office, by appointment on other days, and via Telehealth as needed.
